Cultural District Virtual Tour
Photo by J. E. Clark This 109 acre garden was the first of many federal depression relief projects undertaken in Tarrant County. It is the oldest botanic garden in the state. While visiting the Botanic Garden, be sure and see the 10,000 square foot conservatory where you'll find tropical species from around the world. Enjoy lunch at The Gardens restaurant while thumbing through a gardening book from the gift shop.
The "Naiads" by Glenda Goodacre seem to relax in the shade of trees at the conservatory entrance, while a pair of leaping bronze frogs by Andre Harvey flank the reflecting pool in the entrance drive.
