| On Burnett Tandy Rd. you can find the
Galapagos Tortoise which is always a favorite among the
children just outside the Museum School South Entrance to
the Fort Worth Museum
of Science and History. Although this work by Jon G.
Bedford is largely constructed of pieces of discarded chrome
automobile bumpers, it bears little resemblance to the popular
junkyard artwork which fades in and out of fashion. Through these doors, your child can enter into a summer-school session of discovery. Also to be found in the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History are exhibits about local history, science for youngsters, a planetarium and the Omni (I-Max Movie) theater. Ramp access is on the north side of the museum at the main entrance. | |
